We want everyone to be able to use this site: read our pages, fill in our forms, and get in touch with us. That includes people using a keyboard only, a screen reader, magnification, or any other assistive technology. This page sets out the standard we build to, what is in place today, the limits we know about, and how to reach us if something here is not working for you.
The standard we build to
We build this site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That is the target we aim at. To be clear about what that means: this is our own self-assessment, not an independent audit, and not a certification. We are not claiming the site is perfect or that it meets every Level AA criterion on every page. We test it ourselves, we fix what we find, and we keep going.
What's in place
As of this release, all of the following are live across the site:
- A “Skip to main content” link as the first thing you reach when you press Tab. It moves your focus into the page content, rather than only scrolling the page there.
- Visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields, on every page.
- Full keyboard operability for menus and dialogs. When one opens, focus moves into it; while it is open, focus stays inside it; when it closes, focus returns to the control that opened it; and Escape closes it.
- Reduced-motion support. If your operating system is set to reduce motion, the intro animation, the background video on the homepage, and the animated review list all stop.
- Pause controls on the homepage background video and on the moving review list, so you can stop them yourself whether or not you have set that preference.
- Text alternatives on images, written to describe what each image is actually showing.
- Color contrast checked programmatically against the Level AA thresholds, including text that sits over imagery.
- Forms with real labels, and error messages that say what went wrong in words rather than by color alone.
- A real 404 page, so a mistyped or broken link lands somewhere that can point you back to what you were looking for.
- Semantic landmarks and a heading structure that does not skip levels, so you can navigate by region and by heading.
Known limitations
Three things we would rather tell you about than let you discover:
- The homepage background video. It is real footage, and some text sits over it. We hold a dark overlay behind that text and verify the contrast against it, but individual frames of video vary, so we cannot promise an identical result on every frame.
- Our chat assistant. Its replies are generated at the moment you ask by a third-party service, so we cannot guarantee the wording or structure of every response.
- Google review content. Reviewer names, profile photos, and review text are third-party content, displayed as it is provided to us. We do not write or edit it.
Third-party content
Some pieces of this site come from other companies, and we do not control how they are built: the chat widget, the embedded Google reviews, and Google Fonts and Google Analytics. If one of those is what is giving you trouble, please tell us anyway. We would much rather know. We can usually find another way to get you what you need, and we can take the problem to the vendor.

Rough notes are completely fine. A sentence or two is plenty, and you do not need to know any technical terms to report something.
